1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the TrainFed mobile application, website, and related services. By using TrainFed, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be legally able to enter this agreement. If you use TrainFed for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. Health and nutrition disclaimer

TrainFed provides general wellness, nutrition, fitness, and organizational information. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or professional dietary advice. Calorie, macro, hydration, recovery, food-analysis, and meal-plan outputs are estimates and may be incomplete or inaccurate.

Do not use TrainFed for a medical emergency. Consult a qualified clinician before making significant diet, exercise, supplement, or weight-management changes, especially if you are pregnant, under 18, have an eating disorder, take medication, or have a medical condition. Stop and seek professional help if a recommendation causes concern or symptoms.

3. Accounts

TrainFed may create an anonymous account during onboarding. You can later link a supported sign-in method without changing the account identifier. You are responsible for your device, account access, and the accuracy of information you provide.

Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. We may suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect you, other users, or the service.

4. Acceptable use

• Use TrainFed only for lawful, personal, or authorized organizational purposes.
• Do not probe, scrape, overload, disrupt, reverse engineer, or bypass security or usage limits, except where applicable law expressly permits it.
• Do not upload content that is unlawful, harmful, infringing, deceptive, or that violates another person's privacy.
• Do not use automated methods to create accounts or submit requests without our written permission.
• Do not present TrainFed estimates as medical diagnoses or guaranteed outcomes.

5. AI-generated and estimated content

TrainFed uses automated systems to estimate food portions and nutrients, recommend targets, analyze voice and images, generate meal plans, and create recipe artwork. Outputs can vary and may not identify allergens, ingredients, quantities, or nutritional values correctly.

You are responsible for reviewing and editing outputs before relying on them. Always check labels, ingredients, allergies, food safety, and portion sizes. TrainFed does not guarantee that generated meals fit every medical, religious, allergy, or dietary requirement.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You give TrainFed a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, transmit, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and support the service.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit your content. You can remove individual entries where the app provides that control or delete your account from the profile screen.

7. TrainFed rights

TrainFed, including its software, design, branding, text, graphics, and service technology, is owned by TrainFed or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service. They do not transfer ownership to you.

8. Subscriptions and purchases

Some features may require a paid subscription or purchase through Apple's App Store. Prices, billing periods, trials, renewal terms, and included features are shown before purchase. App Store purchases are billed and managed by Apple under your Apple account settings and Apple's applicable terms.

Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled through your Apple account before the renewal date. Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

9. Third-party services

TrainFed relies on third-party services for authentication, hosting, data storage, AI processing, Apple Health access, and App Store distribution. Their services may be subject to separate terms and may change or become unavailable. TrainFed is not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

10. Service changes

We may add, change, limit, or discontinue features, models, quotas, or integrations. We may also perform maintenance or suspend access for security, legal, or operational reasons. We will provide notice when required by law and will not remove paid access rights in a way that violates applicable consumer law.

11. Termination

You may stop using TrainFed at any time and can delete your account from the profile screen. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these terms, create risk or legal exposure, or misuse the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

12. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrainFed is provided as available and without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrainFed and its affiliates, personnel, and suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities arising from the service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, TrainFed's total liability for claims arising from the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid TrainFed during the 12 months before the claim or 100 US dollars. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot legally be limited.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. We will post updated terms with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after the updated terms take effect means you accept them, unless applicable law requires another form of consent.

15. General terms

If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining terms will continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these terms without our permission. We may assign them as part of a reorganization, financing, merger, acquisition, or transfer of the service, subject to applicable law.

Because TrainFed is offered internationally and the operator's legal entity and governing jurisdiction may vary before public release, the final App Store version of these terms will identify the controlling entity, governing law, and dispute forum required for your region.
